10 NEW SCHOOL ACTS THAT HAD A STELLAR 2019.

2019 was indeed a year to be alive! From good music to collaborations worth listening to Nigerian acts putting us on the map internationally. 2019 served us and we were fed.

It was indeed a beautiful spectacle to see younger acts bring something remarkable to the table last year and give the industry heads a run for their money. I mean we all wanted a breath of fresh air and it was refreshing to breath in an aura of ‘uncustomary music’ which remarkably seeped its way into the ’high and mighty’ mainstream corners.

To that effect, here is a list guide of 10 new school acts that underwent a glitzy year as pertaining to their music.

It would be of esteem kernel to assert thresholds that this list is built on.

- New school acts: Artists who are of the new breed and are young, who are not the conventional industry definition of what an artist should be.

- Mainstream Appeal: Like it or not, Music would always be assayed by commercial viability – how your music has found a way of trickling into corners your fandom does not even grasp.

- ‘Blow status’: Artists who were considered on this list, are artist who have not quite yet unlocked ‘Blow status’ - In popular street lingo, “They never blow yet!” But who sited themselves in the right colloquy last year.

Without further kerfuffle, let us commence. Shall we?
