Sometimes in 2017, I stumbled on Dap’s music courtesy of the PGM club with the song ‘Details’ and then I listened to ‘Special’ featuring Ajebutter 22 and Peter Enriquez and that took me from the orbit of a fan to a Stan.

Dolapo Akinkugbe Production dubbed DAP is a lawyer, music producer/sound engineer, an artiste, an accomplished classically trained pianist and even a video director.

An Avant-grade in his approach from releasing music i.e. ’Body of works’ to his visuals and artistic representations to collaborations to consciousness laden rapping/singing and even to instrumentations owing to his very educated musical background and influence.

Coming off the top of a busy year with guest features on ShowDemCamp ‘4TH Republic’ off their penultimate album of 2019 – ‘These Buhari Times’, ‘Gona’ off Bez Idakula ‘The light’ album, ‘Coffee Machine’ off SirBatien ‘Mango’ EP and ‘Bordeaux’ off 234 Jaydaa ‘Crescent Moon Collection’ debut EP.



His most recent accolades include opening for Skepta and Burna Boy at the first annual Native land Festival , and has since been asked to perform again, as well as featuring on the song “Be Nice ” in the recent Disney soundtrack for film Noelle .
