DEAR WOMEN, GOD WANTS YOU TO BE EQUALLY WISE AS SERPENTS AS YOU ARE CALM AS DOVES

I have had access to this story for close to 5 years. Although, the details might have been sketchy. I was seated in my compound a few months back overhearing some of these conversations and then the Holy Spirit drops the word ‘Calm as doves, wise as serpents’ I knew there was a scripture that typifies those words. It is Matthew 10:16

I asked God for more clarity as regards this story and he made me understand that Christianity shouldn’t be synonymous with naivety especially with women and their sexuality and that there has to be a certain level of intentionality to revolt against that mold.

Because I have seen numerous times, Women who are spirit filled, innocent, vibrant, all out for God still fall into the traps that men who pose as ‘Christians’ set. It then dawned on me that being calm isn’t enough, you have to be wise as serpents.

The Bible uses the serpent here as the ‘poster boy’ for wisdom, not because it is the wisest creature. But because wisdom in this case is more than being wise, it denotes cunning, stealth and by extension ‘Unconventional wisdom’
