DEAR YOUNG MEN, “I LOVE YOU” BRO (NO HOMO) IS TOTALLY UNNECCESSARY

Love is the greatest and supersedes any form of gender bias and the term, “I LOVE YOU” with the clause (NO HOMO) should be avoided here is why.

I have never come across any female post on social media where they celebrate their female friends (not even family friends) and profess their love whilst adding the tag ‘no lesbianism’ or anything along those lines.

Someone once reached out to me one time and said “bro, I love your face” but no homo though”. I told him that part was not necessary.

I am a firm believer of the gospel and inevitably references to the word of God would be always be made in my writings. Take the example of David and Jonathan.

David and Jonathan’s love is understood as the intimate camaraderie between two young soldiers with no sexual involvement. The books of Samuel do not actually document physical intimacy between the two characters aside from "kissing," while the euphemisms the Bible uses for sexual relations are missing, and nothing indicates that David and Jonathan had a sexual relationship. Neither of the men is described as having problems in their heterosexual married life. David had an abundance of wives and concubines as well as an adulterous affair with Bathsheba, and apparently suffered impotence only as an old man, while Jonathan had a five-year-old son at his death.

Or in the case of Jesus addressing Peter in the book of John 21:15.
