PLAY" EP — Review of KVO maiden project.

KVO Music is a unique blend of Afrobeats and R&B with a hint of soul music complemented with a skill of notch song writing.

Born Oladiran Kelvin Abidemi. A fashion photographer cum artist with a debut EP to his discography tagged ‘PLAY’ - A six track project with minimalist approach as regards collaborations.

“Body” - The EP opener is a delight to listen to with a ‘mellow vibe ‘and has a tendency to make you bop your head to it with a healthy dose of replay value too.

This writer is of the opinion that this track has single qualities and if strategically pushed won’t fare badly at all.

Topically, KVO is fondling with the idea of intoxicating induced sex with a one-night stand. And the trumpets at the tail end of the song is beautiful!



On “Issues” the sophomore single on this project, KVO is honest on this track as he reflects on how much of a wasteman he was to his ex girl and subtly pleads for a reconciliation.

Instrumentally, the songs evoke nostalgic feelings you probably felt listening to Teni’s “Fake Jersey”.

His rap-sing type approach on 1:18 on this song just buttresses his versatility.
