LECARE TALKS RESTORATION AND I WANT OTHERS TO BE EQUIVALENTLY RESTORED AS I WAS

I get an ad in my mail from Hillsong channel sharing a link to a certain Yvonne Orji interview with Natalie Lee about confidence in God, abstinence, and much more.

That piques my interest and I click on the link to watch the video. Checking through the channel, I stumble on this Interview with Lecrae.

Lecrae is an American Rapper amongst others, He is someone who has lent his voice to the right causes and amplified his faith via his music. For me, this is someone who inspires me to be creative in that space unashamed of his truth.

His recent album Restoration is a body of work with one singular intent in mind; Be a symbol of hope to those who have lost that insignia, to people who have been shamed to silence, people who have placed so much premium on what they were or have done as opposed to their heritage in Christ which shreds of such premonition.

Sitting right before my computer screen, watching and listening even more intently, I decided to make little notes of striking points that were made during the interview.

“WHEN IT COMES TO SPIRITUAL BATTLES, LAYERING ALL YOUR ARMOURS ON WINNING AND BEING SUCCESSFUL, DOESN’T DO YOU ANY GOOD.”

We are in a world that celebrates success and affluence which is not inherently a bad thing. It is God’s will that we flourish and be in good health.
