MAJESTY LYN ‘FOUR TWENTY’ IS A DELIGHTFUL LISTEN ALBEIT SLIGHTLY MARRED BY DISPARITY [EP REVIEW]

Refreshing through Twitter on the 20th of April and someone I follow retweets Majesty-Lyn fan link and on impulse I like the tweet.

But I look at the name and it seems familiar. I then remember where I had seen that name – Blaqbonez ‘Come for You’ track off his BadBoyBlaq Album.

A memorable track although the marring of her name on that song made it hard to find more music from her.

A Titular Four track EP, ‘Four Twenty’ released on the 20th of April(4:20) – the day set aside for stoners to commemorate, also out in stores by 4:20PM. So much for calculatedness!

Without Further ado, shall we begin?

HOLD ON TO MY HEART’

The Project opener is a diary of Majesty-Lyn love story; her past experiences – Good and bad.

With her Croon-Style of singing, she documents the grip her current love interest has on her and how She would rather it remains that way.

SAY SO’

Produced by Medua, the song also having a familiar melody and it seems to be a continuation or extension of the narrative in the first song.
