TEEBAN MAIDEN PROJECT ‘MEMORIES OUTSIDE’ IS A PERFECT PROJECT FOR AN INTRODUCTION [EP REVIEW]

Debut projects can be considered an uphill task for majority of reasons; executing such gravity of projects requires having a reliable consumer base, funds, dedication, right people around and even promotion.

For an artist who is relatively new, it would be safe to say they would lack the experience considering it is their first. And so there would be so much pressure for them to get it right for it would imply a less rocky musical journey. Perfect case study would be Fireboy’s ‘Laughter, Goosebumps and tears’

And so when ‘Teeban’ deemed it fit to drop his debut EP ‘Memories Within’ on May 8, 2020, he would have be hoping that like the deciding penalty in a shoot-out, This EP would be the one that would take him to the next stage and by extension thrust him into the limelight.

‘Teeban’ – a derivative from the name Olatunji Banjoko. Teeban is a singer, songwriter and record producer.

Coming off a busy 2019 with few singles, a collaboration with Davido and also a collaborative EP.

‘Memories Outside’ is a 7 track EP revolving majorly around Love and Relationships with production from MICKEY G, TFI, BEM, TEEBAN and MR ZAKI with solitary collaboration with Lord Veejay.
