THE OWL; THE MYSTERIOUS NIGHT TIME HUSTLER WITH AN IMPRESSIVE RÉSUME
Owls are from the order of solitary and nocturnal birds and are characterized by an upright position, binocular vision, sharp talons, feathers and a large head.
There are between 150 and 200 species of owls on the planet. They can be found in all regions of the earth except remote islands and polar ice caps.
Owls have an amazing grip strength of 500 pounds per square inch which is eight times stronger than that of a human.
A group of owls is called a ‘Parliament’. They are known to have a great sense of depth perception necessary for low-light hunting and super hearing powers.
The Owl was a symbol for Athena, goddess of wisdom and strategy.
And so for a long time, this animal has been the butt of superstition and mystery. But what makes it a master strategist and what features does the owl have that sets it apart from others?
And most importantly, what can we as humans learn from the owl?
