YOUNG (Alté) CREATIVES IN THE FASHION SPACE AND OVER-RELIANCE ON AESTHETICS

It is no new fad that millennials and Gen-Zers are on a quest to change the narrative of the word ‘Creative’ from fashion to Art to Music to Literature and even Video Contents.

These creatives have one thing in common which is youth and it is almost like they are on a unanimous quest to churn out different and daring contents. And it is such a refreshing feat to watch.

In this context, creatives would be confined to only photographers, fashion designers, stylists, fashion models and videographers.

While some of this creatives have accepted the tag of ‘ALTE’ a derivative from the word Alternative. And in *Ed Shearan’s voice they have ‘Owned it’.

Others on the other end of the spectrum have blatantly refuted that claim and their reason is not everything different should be labelled Alté.

Some of the aesthetics prevalent with these set of creatives are peculiar clothing; Baggy…
